Use the Analysis Tool

NOTE: This feature is not available in all versions of SysTrack Visualizer.

The Analysis Tool provides a way to compare different metrics on different machines. To enable this view, select Analysis from the navigation pane.

To select a set of machines and a set of metrics to compare:

  1. Click the Add Series button.

  2. Click a tab to select a group of metrics to compare:
    • Systems compare metrics including applications, application faults, connections etc on different systems.
    • Milestones compare milestones including alarms, app focus, events, faults, and restore points on different systems.
    • Groups compare various health and system information on servers and desktops across groups of systems.
    • Hosts compare metrics including CPU, data store, disk, memory, network, and power across various host systems.
    • Storage compare disk and free space storage metrics across various data stores.
  3. Click the Add to Chart button.

  4. To change the display color for a series, click the drop-down arrow in the Color field, and select the desired color from the color picker.
  5. To remove a series, click the x to leftof the series line you wish to remove, or optionally remove all series, by clicking the Remove All Series button.

Adjust the Focus Time

The current date/time displayed reflects the focus time for the selected data, allowing you to use the data grid to review what was happening during a certain date and time range. Use the following methods to change the focus time:

  • Hover over the orange bar to display the move cursor, then drag the entire orange bar
  • Pull and drag either end of the orange bar to change the end or start date/time
  • Manually change the start or end date/time by placing your cursor in either of the date/time fields to display a blue highlight. Then enter the desired focus time. When you are done, you must click outside of the field for your change to take effect.
  • Select a time frame from the drop-down Window field (default is custom):
  • Select a value from the Averaging field (default is Auto):
    • 1 Hour
    • 1 Day
    • 1 Week
