Use the Integration to Submit a ServiceNow Incident

After you configure this integration, users in SysTrack's Self Help IT Portal will see a Contact IT Support button at the upper right. When users need help, they can click this button, complete the fields of basic information about their issue, and click Submit. When they Submit, the integration automatically creates and populates a ServiceNow Incident ticket so that your ServiceNow support technicians can handle the ticket in their familiar ServiceNow support process.

Follow these steps to use the integration:

  1. In SysTrack's Self-Help IT Portal, click Contact IT Support.

  2. Enter a subject.

  3. Enter a brief description of the issue.

  4. Click the arrow to submit your information into a ServiceNow Incident ticket.

TIP: With this integration, Health Self-Report Surveys will include a check box that automatically creates a ServiceNow incident when checked and submitted via the survey.
