Total Impacted Time by Category

Use the Impacted Time by Category chart to see the IT issues affecting the total average impacted time, either as a percentage breakdown or a trend over a particular time period. Health is impacted by a number of different categories. For more details on these categories, see Health Score Details.

Distribution

Impact categories are the areas of IT that are affecting your health score, and ultimately contributing to employee impact. This pane displays the distribution of the total impact time in a percentage for each category. The top four impact areas are called out individually, and the remaining categories are grouped into “Other”.

The top impacts based on percentage of total impact time are displayed on the Total Impact by Category Trending graph. You can use this view to understand if impact has increased from a sudden IT issue or a new area affecting users. It can also be used to track the progress against improvements you are making in your IT environment. It is a good indication when Health Score may not be improving, or whether the gains you make in one area might be eroded by another.

You can show and hide the impacted time categories by clicking on the relevant legend at the bottom of the graph. The times displayed are the cumulative impact hours across your environment. These times are averages derived from the moving averages of the cumulative impact hours.
