Access Dashboard Builder

Access to the SysTrack Dashboard Builder is dependent on security privileges.

NOTE: To effectively create SysTrack Dashboards it is helpful to have a knowledge of how to write SQL queries or have access to someone who does.

Set up User Permissions for Dashboard Builder

  1. In SysTrack Deploy - Select Configuration > Tools Access Security from the menu bar.
  2. If necessary, assign security to a new group or user. (See the SysTrack Deploy User Guide for detailed information).
  3. Click the Manage Privilege Sets button to display the Privilege Set Maintenance dialog.

  1. Select Dashboard in the tree, then select the All Access check box for Builder.

Open Dashboard Builder

Dashboard Builder can be accessed in the following ways:

  • From your web browser enter the following URL : http://<master>/dashboard/builder where <master> is the name of your SysTrack system.
  • From the SysTrack Launch page, select the Dashboard icon, and then click the Dashboard Builder Launch button
  • From an open Dashboard in the Dashboard Viewer, click the Settings icon in the top left, and select the Edit Dashboard icon. The dashboard you are viewing will open in the Dashboard Builder.
