Define Categories

You can attach or add new categories to dashboards to enable users to find groups of dashboards more easily when searching in the Dashboard Viewer.

  1. With the dashboard open on your workspace, select the Dashboard tab.

  1. To select from a list of already defined categories, either place your cursor in the Category field, begin typing a category name, and select from the displayed list, or use the drop-down list to select the appropriate category.
  2. To create a new category, click the plus icon to the right of the Category field.
  3. Enter a name for the new category in the pop-up dialog box, and click the OK button, or click the Cancel button.
  4. When you are done, click the Apply button to save your changes.
