Define Categories
You can attach or add new categories to dashboards to enable users to find groups of dashboards more easily when searching in the Dashboard Viewer.
- With the dashboard open on your workspace, select the Dashboard tab.
- To select from a list of already defined categories, either place your cursor in the Category field, begin typing a category name, and select from the displayed list, or use the drop-down list to select the appropriate category.
- To create a new category, click the plus icon to the right of the Category field.
- Enter a name for the new category in the pop-up dialog box, and click the OK button, or click the Cancel button.
- When you are done, click the Apply button to save your changes.
