Configure Collection Extensions

If you want to collect a certain dataset that is not being collected already, you can create a Collection Extension that will collect that data and upload it in the endpoint database. You can create a Collection Extension template which allows you to select a specific Action, then choose a file to execute, and then enter parameters. Collection Extensions are different from Automations in that they only run asynchronously and cannot prompt the end user.

NOTE: If you have pseudoanonyimization, make sure you do not collect Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in your collection extension.

At the top of the page you can find the drop-down list in which you select the Collection Extension you want to edit and the Add, Delete, Import, and Export icons.
